If you watched the show ( I don’t ) and you are a guitar player then probably you want to try this song on your guitar.  For all others who never watched this show like me, I recommend this song, just listen it once and you will love it because of its simplicity and lyrics. The movie was so good & all the songs are just wow. I don’t like the music of A.R Rahman Ji every time because he is the master of music & I can’t understand that highly created music. No doubt that the movie was good. Both the actors did a great job but there is a major role of the music in the success of the movie. This album has some great tracks. I tabbed four songs of the same movie which are on my old blog.
Tabs of this song were not on the net, so i decided to tab it & believe me you will feel the girl is singing in your guitar when you will play these tabs. You can play these tabs perfectly on an electric guitar because you need to play till 17th fret. Personally I can't play on 17th fret comfortably on acoustic guitar because my hands stuck there. But even if you wish to try it on acoustic then try it and let me know.

The song Ilahi is beautifully composed & well written. I listened it too late but that's okay. Sometimes i miss this kind of great songs. The pitch of this song is little high, specially that lead part which is played at the beginning of the song. You have to practice this song to get the right speed. And it will only sound good if you play it fast. But if you don't care about playing that lead part then the rest of the song is not so fast there are so many resting points where your hands can rest & you can release some stress.

This song is good even if you are beginner & playing guitar for the first time because it has very few notes & if you will play according to the song then you will find it comfortable to play.

What is key signature ?

If you are guitarist then you should hear the word "key" or a scale or music is in certain key. Key is the root note of a scale or chord progression. It tells us which note are to be played or used in a particular scale. If a piece of music is made up from the notes of F major scale it means that it is in the key of F major. In same way if a piece of music is made up from the notes of G minor scale then it means it is in the key of G minor scale. All the other notes in that piece of music will be heard in relation to G minor key note.

Key signature are used to label keys and to indicate what notes must be raised or lowered in order to maintain the same intervals for the major and minor scales. The key of C major is the simples because it does not have any sharp or flats. The G major is the second simplest key which only contains one sharp note and the third is the key of F which only contains one flat note.
